Terms, and your right to cancel
The quotation we give you is the contract, and it carries these terms and the statutory cancellation notice with it.
Last reviewed 1 November 2026.
Quotations
A quotation follows a survey, is itemised, and holds for the period stated on it. We do not price a loft without seeing it, and a figure given over the telephone is an indication rather than a quotation.
Your right to cancel
If you agree the contract at your home, or at a distance such as over the telephone or by email, you have fourteen days from the day the contract is made to cancel it, without giving a reason. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and it applies to consumers rather than to businesses.
To cancel, tell us in writing — an email to office@cleverloftsolutions.co.uk is enough. You do not have to use any particular form of words. We give you the statutory cancellation form with your quotation as well.
Two things worth knowing, because they catch people out. If you ask us to begin the work within the fourteen days, we will ask you to confirm that request in writing; if you then cancel part way through, you pay for what has been done. And once the work is fully performed at your express request within the fourteen days, the right to cancel is lost.
We say so plainly before we start, because for us a survey one day and a fit the next is the ordinary case rather than the exception.
The guarantee
Two years on our workmanship, in writing, running from the day the work is finished. Manufacturers’ guarantees on the materials are separate and we tell you what they are.
