Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

When you enquire

Your name, telephone number, email address if you give one, the postcode and address of the property, and whatever you tell us about the job. We use it to answer you, to survey the property and to quote. The lawful basis is that we are taking steps to enter into a contract with you.

When you become a customer

The survey measurements, photographs of the loft before and after the work, the quotation, the job record and the invoice. We use it to do the work, to bill for it and to honour the guarantee. The lawful basis is the contract, and our legal obligations for tax and consumer records.

If you tick the marketing box

We may contact you later with offers or advice. The lawful basis is your consent, we record when and how you gave it, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying to any message or writing to the address above. We do not buy lists and we do not sell your details to anybody.

Photographs

We photograph lofts before and after the work, because a photograph is what answers a question about workmanship years later. We do not publish a photograph of your loft without asking you first.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to marketing at any time. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
